Covid restrictions have been lifted - and customers have spoken!
With virtually all Covid restrictions now lifted, we can all start planning ahead for a return to some kind of normality - whatever that looks like. But what do your customers think about that, and what do their own plans look like?
Here at Beacon, we understand that you might not have had the resources or the time to carry out your own research. So, we’re delighted to be able to share the results of a survey that our sister company, Best Western GB, recently carried out.
They asked almost 3,000 of their Best Western Rewards customers about their attitude to Covid-safe protocols, and their feelings around the lifting of restrictions, and the results were surprising. For example, 6 out of 10 customers would not stay at a hotel which had removed its Covid risk measures. 78% think hotel guests and staff should still wear face masks and that social distancing should still be maintained. 65% think screens should remain on reception desks. And 69% want to keep table service.
In other words, customers still appear to be risk averse, despite restrictions being lifted. We hope you find this useful in planning your post-Covid future, and you can see the full survey results below.
